Rollin in style

Welcome to the California skate world. Roller skating use to be activity most young kids would do after school or when they ask their parents to skate outside. Parents would buy the skates from a sporting goods place or Wal Mart, or a store of that sort. They would put on their knee pads and helmets and be on their way. Middle school kids would go on the weekends to a near by roller skating rink and have a little fun. However, now a days roller skating has been taken to the next level. People of all ages are involved. It is very serious and customized skates are in! When I got into skating heavily about two years ago I went with my boyfriend who was a big roller skater and he was very good. I got there and I was shocked by their skates. Some had dress shoes such as Stacey Adams, converse, boots… etc, all as their skates. I was very fascinated by this and I couldn’t believe the many different styles.
